I use logic when analyzing or discussing topics. I do get emotional sometimes but try not to let it impair my thoughts. I am amazed at how few people use logic and reasoning to make decisions. They react to emotion and end up making stupid decisions.
Unfortunately, this is a hard problem to solve. The best answer in my opinion is to keep trying to educate people with the facts. Most people can make good decisions if they know the facts. We need to expose the liars.
